Software Control of Zoom, Iris, and Focus for RF Lenses
Emergent Vision announced new support for software-based control of zoom, iris, and focus when using Canon RF lens ecosystem with its camera lineup. With this release, zoom control is now supported on compatible RF lenses, expanding beyond existing iris and focus capabilities. This allows users to dynamically adjust focal length in real time. A firmware update is required for both the camera and the RF lens adapter, with adapter firmware version 4.0.1 or higher needed to enable full functionality.
