The DLS modules by vialux are designed for digital imaging applications that require DLP pattern projection combined with synchronized image acquisition. Following a new concept, DLP light modulator and image sensor are controlled by the same electronics, eliminating the need to externally couple projector and cameras. DLS-1 and DLS-2 modules are configured for different image fields and working distances (WD). DLS-1 is equipped with a DLP projection unit and image sensor, with the working distance adjustable in the range of 1.300-3.000mm by tilting the image sensor slightly. The distance between the projection and camera optics is 410mm. The DLS-2 has two image sensors and one DLP chip. All three chips are in fixed position to each other, two configurations for 600 or 1.000mm working distance are available. The base distance of the two camera lenses is 160mm. Currently the following LEDs are available for the visible and NIR range: White, Blue 460nm, NIR 730nm, NIR 850nm.
Long Range Sensor for large Measuring Distances
The optoNCDT 1760-1000 long-range laser sensor by Micro-Epsilon also measures at distances of up to 2m with up to 7.5kHz.
