On May 21, 2021, MVTec will release Halcon version 21.05. It includes new features in the area of Deep Learning and Matching, as well as further developments of the Subpixel Barcode Reader and Deep OCR. A new feature highlight is Generic Shape Matching, which allows users to implement their solution more easily and quickly thanks to a significant reduction in the number of operators required. Halcon 21.05 also supports the Nvidia Tensor Inference Engine, which can significantly improve application inference performance. The new window docking has been optimized by HDevelop. Users now have more options to control where floating windows open. In addition, widgets that are not needed can now be quickly minimized to the sidebar and shown again when needed.
