The new HF-XA-1F lenses series by Fujifilm is a new series of industrial lenses specially designed for demanding applications requiring a high resistance to shocks and vibrations. It is suitable for image sensor sizes from 2/3″ to 1/1.2″ and resolutions up to 5MP resulting. The new series carries over the optical design and performance of the HF-XA-5M lenses into a completely new mechanical design optimized for shock and vibration resistance with five new models with focal lengths ranging from 8mm to 35mm. The key difference between both series resides in the shock resistance. Fujifilm has tested the new lenses by applying forces up to 10G in six directions and measuring the shift of the optical axis after the test.
