For the best possible image quality, the stereo camera BVS 3D-RV1 by Matrix Vision/Balluff is equipped with 12MP sensors for a wide range of detection areas with recommended working distances of up to 4m. The image data for depth image calculation is transmitted in parallel via two GigE interfaces, which allows repetition rates of up to 9Hz, depending on the resolution and GPU processing power. With IP54 and passive cooling, the camera is optimized for industrial environmental conditions. If the objects to be captured or the working environment have little to no texture, the integrated pattern projector ensures an increase in information density and improvement of stereo matching.
