The XCP camera family in the uEye+ product line by IDS is only 29x29x17mm small and has a completely closed zinc die-cast housing with screwable USB Micro-B connector. Cost-optimized electronics and compatibility with popular lenses (C-mount) make them suitable for price-sensitive applications. Currently, the cameras will go into volume production with ON Semiconductor’s AR0234 2.3MP global shutter sensor and AR0521 5MP rolling shutter sensor. Other sensors will follow.
