The inspection platform Q vix Pivot by Sensofar is for inspecting stents and heart valve frames with non-cylindrical geometries. The sensor head of the system pivots around the device to track its expansion profile, in opposition to traditional inspection systems that move the device under a fixed camera. This approach, combined with the SensoInspect software, allows the system to automatically obtain a flat representation of the surface of non-cylindrical devices. The results of the inspection are traceable to the locations in the device, and all the results are automatically exported following 21CFR part11 requirements.
