Ximea unveiles two new camera platforms. The MX1048 is based on Sony’s 105MP IMX927 sensor, which shoots directly to host memory at 56fps via PCIe Gen 4 x4. Thanks to the active Canon RF mount, lens control is handled by the same software as image capture. The second platform is a USB 3.2 camera that operates at 10 or 20Gbps over a single USB-C cable, transmitting image data and power over the same connection and offering four times the speed of current USB 3 cameras.
