The uEye XLS camera family has been added to the low-cost camera portfolio from IDS. These are tiny board cameras with dimensions of 29x29x7mm, which have been reduced to the essential camera functions and are available from a list price of 150 euros. The USB3 cameras have a Micro-B connector and are only available as circuit board variants with or without C/CS or S-mount lens holders. The cameras from 2 to 12MP are so small that they are inserted directly into the lens holder.
