Sony Semicon Aitrios is an AI sensing platform that makes it easier to develop, deploy and manage vision-based machine learning solutions at scale. It is based on the IMX500 the world first image sensor to be equipped with AI processing functionality. The sensor uses a stacked configuration consisting of a pixel chip and a logic chip which enables AI processing on the image sensor. The sensor converts image data into metadata before sending to the cloud. Different Aitrios compatible hardware edge devices are already available.
