For high-precision images in very warm environments, the Baumer portfolio includes industrial cameras with a cooling channel directly integrated in the housing. Via this channel, the new CX.XC models can be cooled with compressed air in the range of 2 to 3bar or with liquids up to 6bar. Thanks to effective heat dissipation close to the sensor and lens, the cameras deliver images with very low noise and few defect pixels while maintaining high dynamic range. Mass production of the CX series with integrated cooling channel will start with 5MP models with Sony Pregius sensor in Q4 2021.
The Vial Scanner by Schäfter+Kirchhoff (www.sukhamburg.com) was developped for the in-situ imaging of Drosophila pupae and for automated measurement of their size.
