Two new models join Nikon Metrology’s Nexiv VMZ-S series of CNC video measurement systems. The VMZ-S4540 and VMZ-S6555 models are designed for medium to large components or for arranging many smaller components and can capture images at higher speeds than the previous series With a movable LED ring light and 8-segment LED illumination, it is possible to precisely resolve and capture edges of complex shapes. In addition, a high-speed laser with a scanning performance of 1000 points/sec can capture the cross-sectional profile of a surface and evaluate the corresponding heights. Up to ten measuring systems can be remotely controlled with Remote Control SDK (optional).
