Opto Engineering’s PCMP-Series optics are multi-image 3D lenses for inspecting and measuring test objects ranging in size from 1 to 10mm. An array of mirrors connected to a bitelecentric lens provides six different side views. The top of the inspection part is imaged directly in the center of the field of view. The side views have exactly the same magnification and the images remain in focus even when the object is moved from its nominal position. All views can be used to accurately measure components from different angles. LED illumination with geometry optimized for this configuration is integrated into the objectives.
