Record year for German Vision Industries
According to VDMA IBV, the German machine vision industry was again able to increase its sales by +4% to 2.7bn€ in 2018. At just under 6%, domestic sales were slightly higher than export business.

The two most important export regions were North America (+6%) and Asia (+4%). Almost 43% of the turnover of the German machine vision industry was achieved in these two regions. Exports to European countries rose by 5%. The VDMA Machine Vision expects sales to decline in 2019.
