The Absolute 3D laser scanner AS1-XL by Hexagon is designed for inspecting large surfaces and can be used with both the laser tracker and mobile measuring arms. It uses Shine technology’s intelligent exposure algorithms to capture 3D data at high speed on even the most demanding surfaces. It has a wide scanning line of 600mm at medium range. In combination with a point capture rate of 1.2 million points/s and a line frequency of 300Hz, it is suitable for rapid large-area scanning without loss of accuracy.
