The 3D measuring system ZScan by Senswork enables a fully automatic 3D inline measurement of large components in usually less than 10sec. Several triangulation sensors with free spatial arrangement detect objects almost shadow-free and measure even complex components, e.g. aluminum die castings, completely within a few seconds. The up to 20 million measuring points per scan are automatically matched with CAD data. Due to the free geometric arrangement of the 3D scanners, areas that are difficult to access optically, such as undercuts or shadow areas, can also be captured and surfaces as well as volumes can be checked automatically.
