Hybrid Reality Capture is the new scanning mode for Faro Technologies’ Focus Premium laser scanners. It combines the accuracy of a static 3D laser scanner with the speed of a panoramic camera. The combination of fast scans with colorized 360° images makes it possible to complete work that previously took up to two weeks in one week. Flash technology requires only 30s/scan. Thanks to proprietary intelligent upscaling algorithms, the scan contains all captured points, so images look sharper than scans of the same. The technology will be available as an add-on subscription in the Stream mobile app.
