Scansonic’s triangulation-based TH6D-Advanced sensor for precise seam tracking applications enables a resolution of 25m. In contrast to other systems, it works with three lines. This redundancy significantly increases the reliability of the information and allows the sensor to dynamically correct the Tool Center Point (TCP) in real time. The permanent coordination also eliminates the need for time-consuming re-teaching when changing components or making changes to the edge. Thanks to stray light filtering, the sensor delivers reliable results even in difficult lighting conditions.
