The SingleTireScanner by GL Technology is a semi-mobile, laser-based 3D profile measurement system that automatically records the tread depths and tread wear on wheels or tires. Following the profile measurement, the TireScan evaluation software analyzes the recorded profile and indicates any irregularities on the tire profile. Other condition features, such as damage to the tire sidewall, can also be recorded. Maximum tire width is 365mm, max. tread depth 40mm, with a measurement width of 80mm and a scan duration of five to eight seconds.
