Wenglor’s P1PW series contrast sensors record the smallest differences in contrast on different surfaces and materials. The sensors with white light are able to detect color-intensive to pale markings, even during fast process sequences against any background. Three operating modes enable the sensors to be used variably as print mark readers, contrast sensors and for detecting color differences. Thanks to a switching frequency of 50kHz and low jitter, applications with high process speeds can be safely solved. In addition, the automatic adjustment of the light intensity ensures precise detection of a wide variety of surfaces, including very shiny ones.
