CamCube is a low-cost hardware module that detects people, tracks hands, performs gesture recognition and enables voice interfaces. It has been made possible by a partnership of Dolphin Design and Neovision. It leverages the silicon IP design platform Raptor, an ultra-low power Edge AI accelerator IP, and runs high-performance and compact machine learning models. Raptor re-invents energy efficiency through a near-memory computing architecture that truly minimizes data movement to save system-level energy. The co-designed Raptor hardware and its SDK drastically increase AI computing efficiency for sub-mW AI based vision applications.
