Thanks to the ‘Classification (AI)’ detector, the Vision Sensor Visor Object AI by Sensopart independently learns characteristic distinguishing features based on a few images of the object to be detected. It is then able to reliably recognize objects appearing in front of the lens and assign them to different classes. For presence checks, components can be evaluated as IO/NIO or classified into up to 200 classes. The AI algorithm is implemented in the sensor itself and therefore does not require any network or cloud connections.
