Teledyne e2v’s Flash 2K LSA CMOS image sensor family is specifically tailored for laser profiling applications that require the use of a large Scheimpflug angle (LSA). The sensors offer more than four times the angle response for 30° angles and more than seven times for 40° angles. It not only improves image quality, but also allows optimization of the laser line performance at the system level when large Scheimpflug angles are used. The 6µm CMOS global shutter pixels combine high resolution and fast refresh rates. The sensor is also available in resolutions of 2K (2K x 1K, 1,500 frames/s) and 4K (4K x 1K, 1,800 frames/s), with or without standard micro lenses and combined with or without a glass cover.
