Thanks to new firmware, the scancontrol 30xx laser profile scanners by Micro-Epsilon now achieve five times higher performance. On the software side, the sensitivity function can be used to reduce the exposure time of the laser scanners by up to 80%, allowing dynamic 2D and 3D measurements. Sensitivity can be selected in five levels. In version 6.7 of the scancontrol Configuration Tools and in 3D-View 3.7, the parameter can be selected directly. In 3DInspect, it is directly available as a GenICam parameter. The maximum profile rate remains at 10kHz.
