Rotoclear has developed a camera system that delivers process information directly from machine tools/machining machines in 4K and 30fps. To withstand the harsh conditions inside the machine, it is equipped with a rotating viewing window that keeps the camera lens free of dirt at all times. With up to two camera heads per control unit, several viewing angles can be recorded simultaneously in picture-in-picture mode. The C2 camera head can be mounted directly on the headstock in the immediate vicinity of the tool. For this purpose, its design was specially designed for the accelerations that occur there. It also has an integrated position sensor that compensates for the movements on the tool head.
