AT Sensors’ IRCamSafeEX is a specially developed IP67 protective housing for the safe use of infrared cameras in potentially explosive atmospheres. It not only protects cameras from extreme environmental conditions, but also ensures that they meet the strict requirements of the ATEX and IECEx directives. The new certification extends the compatibility of the IRCamSafeEX series to include further infrared camera models, which can be viewed in the AT ProductDocumentation in the support area of the website. The new certification is for potentially explosive zones 1/2 and 21/22 according to ATEX and IECEx standards. No time-consuming re-certification is required after installation as the housing and camera are certified together. Support for new camera models and compatibility with numerous lens types, including wide-angle and telephoto lenses, is available.
