The Nion time-of-flight camera from IDS combines high spatial resolution – thanks to the 1.2MP AF0130 sensor from onsemi’s Hyperlux ID family – with reliable depth accuracy, delivering detailed 3D data even in challenging environments. Housed in an IP67-rated enclosure, the camera provides stable depth information even in direct sunlight. With 1.2MP, it offers up to four times the resolution of many other ToF cameras with VGA sensors. This results in finer object resolution in the 3D image – edges appear clearer, and smaller objects can be detected and measured more reliably – even in dynamic environments with moving objects.
