With the evoVIU VIUx, evopro is launching a software-defined camera. It combines industrial image processing, edge AI, and automation directly at the machine. To achieve this, the VisionWebx software is being ported to Bosch’s ctrlX OS operating system and made available as an app in the ctrlX OS Store. This provides a unified development and runtime environment for vision applications that can be used on various hardware platforms running ctrlX OS. An NXP i.MX95 processor and a Hailo-8 AI accelerator deliver the computing power required for demanding edge AI applications.
