A new backlight by Phlox makes it possible to create any lighting pattern. The backlight consists of a combination of a bright LED white light and an LCD display. This has 720×720 pixels on a size of 93x93mm. The luminance is over 20,000cd/m². Up to 30 monochrome image patterns can be loaded onto the lighting and switched over via a trigger signal. A signal between 5 and 24V can be applied as a trigger.
