The Robot Image Capture Tool RCAM-5m-GE-50×4 by Evotron combines all the components for robot-assisted image capturing: a high resolution CMOS camera, a LED ring light and a digital lighting controller. The robot’s path control triggers synchronously the illumination controller (Shortest LED flash times up to 1µs). The four 90° sectors of the LED ring lighting can be controlled in any order and combination. The standardised connection plate (ISO9409-1) of the module enables easy attachment to standardised robot arms. Other features include a freely programmable flash times and camera triggers with 20ns resolution, direct signal connection to the robot controller, wireless configuration and remote maintenance via industrial WLAN.
