The wireless 3D scanner Scoobe3D in smartphone format enables the capture of 3D data even on reflective surfaces by combining various 3D scanning techniques (including polarization). The exact distance between the scanner and the object is determined using a ToF camera, which is now also used in many smartphones. An RGB camera ensures color recognition of the object. In this way, almost all materials (except glass) can be scanned with a scanning accuracy of 0.1mm.
