Since camera systems are increasingly replacing classic sensors on the machine, it is a logical step to integrate the evaluation of image data into Twincat Analytics. The combination of Twincat Vision with Twincat Analytics from Beckhoff reduces the creation of machine vision applications to the graphical configuration and combination of the different image analysis functions. The required algorithms can be easily put together via configuration and run and tested in a non-real-time context. Once you have found the ideal setting for one or more camera systems, the required real-time PLC code based on the Twincat Vision library can be generated and downloaded to the controller at the push of a button.
