The CoaXPress Working Group has released the document ‘Optical Interface Guideline for CXP V.1.0’ which provides solutions for the needs to apply CXP to environments exposed to extremely long distances or harsh electrical noise environments. It summarizes how to use CXP on optical fiber instead of coaxial cable. Furthermore, the CXP WG has released the white paper ‘CoaXPress Connector Guidance V1.0’. HD BNC / MicroBNC connectors has been added to the CoaXPress2.0 standard as a high-speed transfer connector of 10Gbps or more.
