The Profinet IO device by [mu:v] can record measurement data determined by the Optris PIX Connect IR analysis software and make it available via Profinet. Up to eight Optris PI/Xi cameras can be operated via the interface, which is equipped with a 32-bit microprocessor. Thanks to the Profinet interface, the configuration can be taken over from the selected layout of the software. This makes it possible to output up to 20 measurement fields per layout with data such as position and temperature of the measurement fields. By changing parameters such as emissivity, transmittance, measuring temperature range, ambient temperature or the layout selection, the cameras can be controlled in a process-oriented manner.
