The new rc_viscore by Roboception is a high-resolution IP54-protected 3D stereo sensor for robotics applications. The sensor provides a 12MP camera images as well as depth, confidence and error images for the reliable detection of even very small parts with a high accuracy. The integrated rc_randomdot projector allows for dense depth images even in weakly textured scenes. In combination with the rc_cube, the new 3D sensor provides all data required for object detection and grasp computation applications, e.g. in industrial automation and logistics.
