Hexagon AS1-XL modular absolute scanner is designed for large surface inspection and can be used with both the laser tracker and mobile measuring arms. It has a scan line of 600mm at medium range, a point acquisition rate of 1.2 million points/s and a line frequency of 300Hz. The scanner has an extended stand-off of 700mm, which together with its working range of 600mm allows capturing of concealed areas of up to 1m. Thanks to the exposure algorithms of the Shine technology, almost all materials, including different surface types and colors, can be digitized with one scan without setting adjustments.
