Two new confocal chromatic controllers for high-precision distance and thickness measurement expand the Micro-Epsilon product portfolio. The compact confocalDT IFC2411 features an adjustable measurement rate of up to 8kHz and an Ethernet interface. The confocalDT IFC2416 combines extremely high resolution of up to 2nm with high speed of up to 25kHz. The measurement rate can be adjusted to meet specific requirements and can be selected in the range from 100Hz to 25kHz. The IFC2416 also enables thickness measurements of up to five layers, making it particularly suitable for applications with transparent materials. Its ambient light resistance is 30,000lux.
