Version 2022 of the Calypso measuring software by Zeiss IMT increases performance in data acquisition as well as in the evaluation of results. With the product information (PMI) integrated in the CAD data, measurement programs can be created automatically. If defective geometry elements are attached to a PMI in the CAD model, the new release automatically creates the inspection characteristic without the measuring element and generates an inspection plan. In addition, the inspection characteristic groups are created automatically, i.e. inspection characteristic groups are automatically formed from the CAD views of the CAD systems.
