The Spherical Target for Extrinsic Calibration (STEC) is for the extrinsic calibration of the 3D sensors from AT Automation Technology. Calibrations can be carried out with the target using the SolutionPackage, which users can download free of charge. The process increases measurement accuracy by correcting transport errors and transforming all scans into a common coordinate system. For even greater precision, it is recommended to request the version with measurement report, as calibration works best when the exact positions of the ball centers are known.
