The multi spectral sensor AS7343 by ams Osram combines multi-channel color analysis with XYZ sensor technology to measure the color and intensity of light as seen by the human eye. The 14-channel sensor is chip housed in a 3.1x2x1mm package. It features twelfe equally spaced measurement channels in the visible light spectrum, alongside a NIR channel and including the XYZ function. The XYZ channels are closely aligned to the CIE 1931 XYZ color space. The ability to produce direct XYZ values (color coordinates) gives users the flexibility to choose whether to perform a full spectral analysis or a simpler color sweep.
