Jenoptik is showing the combination of tactile and optical measuring tasks in a fully automated inline shaft measuring device. In addition to optical contour matching via silhouette, the T3D scanning sensor completely scans details such as keyways or splines. Rotationally symmetrical workpieces up to 1.200mm with a diameter of up to 230mm and a weight of up to 60kg are measured and this for tolerances of up to 10µm.
