The Gocator 5500 Series by LMI Technologies are smart 3D confocal line sensors that feature separate transmit and acquire optics, enabling simultaneous generation of 3D topography, 3D tomography and 2D intensity data. This allows the sensors to scan virtually any material type submicron precision – including multilayer, transparent or translucent, curved edges, glossy, textured, mixed and many other surfaces. The devices generate 1792 data points per profile and have high measurement frequencies (>10kHz).
