Liebherr developed the high bin picking solution LHRobotics.Vision which brought together a flexible software solution offering high-quality 3D robot vision that supports using Zivid’s 3D camera family. The bin picking solutions are available in two options, a fully functioning robot cell complete with a robot, or as a software suite that can be integrated with other system parts. The technology package itself consists of a 3D camera, with all three Zivid One+ variants being supported. It also consists of a suite of software and documentation. There is also the option of a simulation tool developed by Liebherr with a virtual camera and a virtual point cloud. This simulation tool enables a better choice of gripper geometry and the ability to optimize processes offline.
