Barcelona-based start-up company Scaled Robotics has made a €2 million start-up investment led by European companies such as Norwegian Construct Venture and PropTech Fund Surplus. The financing follows a pre-founding investment of 1Mio.€. The company is developing a robot to be used on construction sites. Lasers and cameras are mounted at the top, which essentially create a 3D point map of a room using SLAM technology. The map is then compared with a construction model of the room, and differences can be noted with centimetre accuracy.
