Keyence presents the 3D laser snapshot sensor LJ-S8000 for 3D inline inspections. The sensor delivers high-precision images with 0.3µm repeatability in 0.2 seconds. Since the laser light source and the sensor’s receiving unit are moved, no additional lighting, moving unit or encoder are required. This enables plug&play inspections of quality, shape, geometry and dimensions. The recording navigator allows the measuring heads to be parameterized in three steps by selecting the best image acquisition, for which no special specialist knowledge is required.
