The new generation of thermal imaging smartphone modules Mini2 V2 and Mini2Plus V2 from Hikmicro are suitable for connection to iPhones and iPads. Until now, the devices were only available for Android smartphones and tablets. The pure thermal image resolution of the modules is 256×192 pixels, the refresh rate is 25Hz and the measuring range has been extended to -20 to 400°C. The modules are connected via the USB Type-C interface or via an adapter to the Lightning interface for iOS. The power supply also runs via the interface, as the module does not have its own battery.
