The new Raspberry Pi AI camera is now available from Farnell. The camera is based on Sony’s IMX500 intelligent image sensor and costs around 70USD. It offers internal processing that is compatible with the entire range of Raspberry Pi SBCs. The 12MP camera’s 76° field of view includes manually adjustable focus; the camera is equipped with 200mm cables for connecting to the Raspberry Pi.
