The Imaging Source expands its embedded camera portfolio with the AR0234 2MP CMOS image sensor from ON Semi. The monochrome and color sensors are available in MIPI CSI-2 sensor modules, MIPI CSI-2 and FPD-Link III board cameras, and IP67-certified FPD-Link III cameras. Based on a new global shutter pixel design, the AR0234 provides the high dynamic range required to capture accurate images in fluctuating lighting conditions. Up to 60fps at full resolution (1920×1200 pixels) is possible. No additional cable is required thanks to the trigger function via the FPD-Link III.
