Version 5.3 of MVTec’s Merlic image processing software now includes the deep learning feature Object Detection. In addition, it is now possible to use training functionalities in the frontend during runtime. For example, new matching models or code reading parameters can be trained. Thanks to a plug-in, it is now possible to communicate with Mitsubishi Electric PLCs via the MC/SMLP protocol. In order to maintain an overview even with more complex applications, it is possible to group several tools into a virtual tool in the tool flow. Furthermore, a start dialog with preview images has been integrated into the Creator.
