AioT computing provider Advantech announces the series production of the flexible native AI-system-on-module SOM-6884. It is based on the latest 13th generation Intel Core processors with up to 96 EUs (Execution Units) in the graphics units. The module offers optimized visual computing performance and efficiency through its multi-tile architecture (P/E-Core), resulting in a 1.5x AI improvement. It also complies with PICMG’s latest R3.1 COM Express specifications, which define the design details for high-bandwidth I/O, including PCIe Gen4, SATA3.0 and USB4.0.
